October 2018 Bullet Journal Setup

As the leaves begin to turn, the page must also turn . . . The bullet journal page, that is.

Okay, I acknowledge that that was absolutely terrible, but I just wanted an interesting way to preface my October bujo setup! Unfortunately, you don't get any fun introduction. Here's my October setup anyway.

September 2018 Bullet Journal Setup

Like I mentioned in last month's bullet journal setup, I am currently in my senior year of high school, so as to be expected, I've already been pretty busy (even though we're only a month into the school year). Because of that, I'd like to apologize for my lack of posting. Regardless, I did actually set up my bullet journal for September on time; I just haven't gotten around to taking photos until now. Thus, though I'm a little late to the game, here is my bujo setup for September 2018!

Setup for New Bullet Journal #5 (August 2018)

Hey, it's August! Not only have I set up for the new month, I've also transitioned into a new bullet journal (which also happens to align with my transition into my senior year of high school). Since this is my fifth bullet journal, I've got my system down pretty solid, so setting up this new bujo was fairly simple. Anyway, without any further ado, keep on reading to see my setup for my new bullet journal and for August 2018!

July 2018 Bullet Journal Setup

My laptop has been having issues, so I am finally now able to show you guys my July bullet journal setup. I set up and took the pictures before I left for China in the middle of June, but my laptop couldn’t connect to the internet; consequently, I was unable to post this in a timely manner like I planned. I just got back last week, soI’m still recovering from jet-lag. I know it’s near the end of the month, but hey--better late than never!

June 2018 Bullet Journal Setup

Hey!! I'm on summer break now!! Now, it's time to set up my bullet journal for June. I've felt bad because I've been so inconsistent this school year in terms of posting here (throwback to when I actually posted every week), and I'd like to post more since school has ended. However, that's probably not going to happen considering I'm going to be in China on vacation from June 16th to July 18th. Anyway, regardless of all that, here's my bujo setup for June!

May 2018 Bullet Journal Setup

Now that it's almost May, I am preparing my bullet journal for the coming month. April has been fairly busy, and with AP exams and finals coming up, I know that May is going to be even busier. At least I know that after all of this, I'll be on summer break! Anyway, here is my May 2018 bullet journal setup!

April 2018 Bullet Journal Setup (2 Years of Bullet Journaling!)

Now that it's almost April of 2018, that insinuates two things: 1) I've got my new monthly setup done, and 2) I've been bullet journaling for two years!! If you're interested, this was my first monthly setup ever. A lot of things have changed since then: my calligraphy, a lot of my bullet journal system, and my life itself. So, here is my monthly bullet journal setup for April of 2018!

March 2018 Bullet Journal Setup

We have less than a week left in February; that means that it's time for my March bullet journal setup! I actually did it at a reasonable time instead of leaving my entire setup to be done at the very end of the month, which is what I usually end up doing lol. Anyway, there isn't much else to say; here is my bullet journal setup for March 2018!

February 2018 Bullet Journal Setup

Now that it's almost the end of the month, it's time for next month's bullet journal setup! I tend to procrastinate my monthly setups till the last two or so days prior to the new month, but this month, I had the opportunity to guest post on the Sakura of America Instagram page about bullet journaling!!! This is especially exciting for me because Sakura Gelly Rolls and the brand as a whole are really what got me into stationery and initially led me to calligraphy (and later to the bullet journal system). Anyway, this is relevant because it means I had to actually set up for February at a reasonable time. So, here is my February 2018 bullet journal setup!

January 2018 Bullet Journal Setup

Ahhh!!!! It's almost 2018!! For me personally, I'm not starting a new bullet journal for the New Year for reasons I discussed in a blog post on whether or not you should do the same. So, my bujo setup for this month is actually fairly similar to my normal setups.

First of all, here is my completed December monthly spread (if you want to see how it looked like at the beginning of the month, then check out my setup post from last month). Anyway, without any further ado, here is my setup for January and for 2018!

December 2017 Bullet Journal Setup

Hey, everyone; I'm finally keeping up with my setup posts now! I took a bit of a blog hiatus in October and November, but I think I'm kind of back on track now. It was really funny because at the end of November, I had this sudden thought of "Oh crap - it's almost 2018." Anyway, I don't really have much else to say, so welcome to my last bullet journal setup of 2017!

October and November 2017 Bullet Journal "Setup" (Flip Through/Transition to My 4th Bujo)

Ahhhh!!!! It's been so long since I've posted!!!! I don't know if there are many people that noticed or care, but I've been kind of inactive here for a couple reasons. It's mainly been that I've been super busy with school and other hobbies (mainly my music making endeavors), I've just been kind of lazy and unmotivated, and I've been in a bit of a bullet journal slump - but that's for another day and another blog post. Anyway, I'm finally getting around to making my "setup" posts - well, video in this case - for October and November. I know that it's the end of November, but because I've done setup posts/videos for every single one of my setups ever since I started using the bullet journal system, I wanted to make up for missing them - so that's why I made this video.



On a note unrelated to bullet journaling: though I still really struggle with making videos since it's pretty different from doing photos, I think my production quality has actually improved! That's because I got a much better camera back in August - my dad's old Canon Mark II, which I still don't really know how to use all that well since it's my first DSLR - and some really good audio equipment in September. If anyone has any tips for video editing (especially stuff like light and color correction), I would love to know them!

September 2017 Bullet Journal Setup

Welcome to my bullet journal setup for September 2017! As of when I'm posting this, it'll be my birthday :) (though it most likely won't be anymore by the time you're reading this post haha). Anyway, this is actually my last month in my current (and third) notebook since I only have about 30 pages left. So, I'll be needing to get a new notebook sometime in September. In August, I was purposely quite conservative with my page use to ensure that I would have enough pages to last me through the entirety of the next month. Nonetheless, here is my bujo setup for September 2017!

August 2017 Bullet Journal Setup (Back to School)

Since it's the end of the month, you know what that means: time to set up my bullet journal for next month! I'm (somewhat unfortunately) going back to school on the 8th, so I'm gonna need my bujo even more to keep my life together. I've added a couple of spreads specifically for school, and I'm actually publishing a post next week about how to use your bullet journal if you're in school/bullet journal spreads for students, so make sure to watch out for that!

Welcome to the July 2017 setup in my bullet journal! This is my last full month of summer break, and I can't believe that summer break is already halfway over! I've been posting a lot on my Instagram since school's been out, and my bullet journal this past month has reflected my laziness throughout break so far. July for me will be a little busier than June, and I need to step it up with my bujo game a little. Anyway, I don't think you care too much about that, so here's my bullet journal setup for next month!

May 2017 Bullet Journal Setup

Now that it's the beginning of a new month, it's time for a new monthly setup in my bullet journal! Anyway, I decided to do a video this month instead of a normal blog post since it will probably convey more detailed information (I hope), and I think it will save time on my end since I have so many school things and performances going on right now. I also think that this video is a lot better made than my last ones, so I hope you guys enjoy the video's production quality as well as the content itself.

April 2017 Bullet Journal Setup (Transition Into a New Journal)

This month is especially exciting for my bullet journal! Okay, I know I say that a lot, but I really mean it this time, mainly for 2 reasons: 1) I'm moving into a new notebook (volume #3 to be exact), and 2) as of the beginning of this month, I've been using the bullet journal system for an entire year! My very first bujo monthly setup was from April of 2016, so I suggest checking that out if you want to see for yourself how my bujo has changed throughout the course of a year. However, I will be making a post next week all about that topic.
